Red Ribbon Week
Buckeye Trail Elementary kicked off Red Ribbon Week today. Students were encouraged to wear red today to show they are proud to be drug-free. Red Ribbon Week is the largest and oldest drug abuse prevention program in the country. BTES will continue celebrating this week with scavenger hunts, decorating contests, and more.
The remaining theme days are as follows:
Tuesday – “Peace out to drugs!”, wear tie-die and peace signs
Wednesday – “Team up against drugs”, wear your favorite team shirt
Thursday – “Lei off drugs!”, dress in Hawaiaan attire
Friday – “Drugs are scary!!!”, Wear your halloween costume
Homecoming
October 14th-16th brought many special events to Buckeye Trail High School for Homecoming week. On Thursday we had our first outdoor house games of the year followed by our pep rally. For the homecoming Friday night we battled the East Canton Hornets. During a cold and rainy halftime, the band played and the homecoming court was introduced. Congratulations to this year’s Homecoming King and Queen…Franko Rome and Abbi Wayble.

Early bird yearbook orders are now available. Orders must be placed by October 31st, 2020 and cost starts at $50.00 for 9-12 students and $25.00 for K-8 students. Get yours early and save!!!

Remember that for students to continue their Athletic and Extra-Curricular seasons ALL individuals in attendance MUST wear a mask or other face covering. Please help us ensure that our students can continue to participate in their activities.
